Our Leadership
Bob Marolf
President
Bob enlisted in the United States Marine Corps following high school graduation and after two tours of duty in Vietnam, was honorably discharged in December of 1972. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1979 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Political Science. Following graduation, Bob worked for a number of construction companies but ultimately landed in Charlotte working for McDevitt and Street, a large General Contracting Firm. It was there that Bob learned the art of General Contracting and in the fall of 1988, he took a leap of faith and formed Marland General Contractors with a business partner.
After a year in business, Bob offered to buy his partner out and Incorporated as Marolf Construction Inc. Bob remains a firm believer that relationships matter and it's those relationships, coupled with his team's uncompromising commitment to quality, that have led to Marolf Construction's ongoing success and new partnerships with some of America's most recognizable brands.
Our Process
We work closely with the owner/client in their decision to develop a site. Conceptual estimates, value engineering, and coordination of architectural and engineering design issues are all part of Marolf Construction services before, during, and after the job is completed.

Marolf's personalized team of subcontractors (who have worked with us on numerous construction projects) allows us to control and determine the scope and budget for each area.

Marolf project managers and field superintendents work with computer aided critical path scheduling techniques and up to date job cost records to ensure each project is finished on time and within budget.
